Our mission is to serve the homeschooling community, but gladly serve all motivated students.
Your student should finish their current courses and you should record it on their transcript before switching to HS4CC Academy.
Not yet, but if ASU ever offers that option, we will implement it immediately.
Generally speaking, all Arizona State University Universal Learner Courses are available. View the ASU catalog here: https://courses.ulc.asu.edu/
Students may choose between any on-demand or session-based course being offered by ASU. Session-based courses range from 8-16 weeks in length, and on-demand courses allow a full year to complete.
At the end of every course, the student will CHOOSE whether or not to have the grade recorded on their ASU transcript. Choosing to record it means it will be added to their official ASU college transcript. Choosing NOT to record it means it will be purged from their record forever and protecting their GPA from a bad grade.
Homeschool parents award high school credit for these courses. We recommend awarding 1 high school credit for every 3-4 credit ASU course your student completes.
HS4CC Academy offers regular cohort-based support sessions, direct engagement with HS4CC representatives, a national Facebook community of those Homeschooling for College Credit using ASU courses, Question-and-Answer sessions, Academic Advising Tips, Admissions Events, and more!
Federal law requires parents to get authorization from their students to view academic records. ASU has a "Guest Access Permissions" box inside the "My ASU" portal that allows the student to easily authorize your access.
We will send your student's name, address, and ASURITE ID to ASU for the sole purpose of processing registration. We do not need access to your student's grades or educational records.
